The Garagiste Wine Festival is returning to the Veteran’s Memorial Hall in Solvang this Feb. 8-10 for its seventh year.

The festival was named America’s Best Wine Festival by USA Today. It was launched in Paso Robles in 2011 to showcase California’s artisan winemakers who produce less than 1,500 cases per year. It’s now held all over the state.

Solvang’s festival will feature more than 40 small production winemakers and a seminar with Central Coast winemaking legend Ken Brown.

The festivities start with a kick-off party on Friday night, followed by Saturday’s Grand Tasting.

Tickets for all of the events are available online.

Attendees can also receive discounts and special offers at area wineries as part of Garagiste Passport Day.

More than 350 wineries have poured more than 3,000 wines for wine lovers at Garagiste Festivals since they started. The festival has also raised over $125,000 in support of The Garagiste Scholarship at Cal Poly.

After its Solvang appearance, the festival will return to Sonoma for its 2nd Annual Sonoma Garagiste Festival this April 13-15.
