Three communities in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties have made Sunset magazine’s list of the “Top 14 Unsung Beach Towns.”
Cayucos placed seventh on the list. The magazine said the coastal town “has remained miraculously immune to over-development for decades, despite its great wines to the east and white sandy beaches to the west.”
Cambria was 11th on the list and Carpinteria was 12th.
Bandon, Oregon topped the list.
