Authorities are asking for the public’s help in the ongoing investigation into the homicide of Lawrence Albert Bross in Oceano last week.

The 90-year-old was found dead in his home Thursday along the 1400 block of Strand Way.

Investigators remained on scene for two days and the sheriff’s dive team was out in the water Monday morning looking for evidence connected to the case.

So far, no arrests have been made.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who had contact with Bross in the two weeks before his death and who has not already spoken with authorities to contact the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office is also asking anyone who lives in the area of Strand Way and who may have video surveillance from the time of the homicide to contact authorities if they have not already done so.

Tips can be made by contacting the sheriff’s detective division at (805) 781-4500. Anonymous tips can be made through Crime Stoppers at (805) 549-STOP (7867) or online at www.slotips.org.
