UPDATE: Sprouts grocery store in SLO to open 2 weeks earlier than previously announced

UPDATE (1/23/19) – Sprouts Farmers Market said Wednesday that it will open its new San Luis Obispo store earlier than previously announced.

The grocery store will now open its doors for the first time on Wednesday, April 3 at 7 a.m.

A Hiring Fair that was planned for March has also been moved up. It will now take place at the Embassy Suites on Madonna Rd. on Wednesday, Feb. 20 and Thursday, Feb. 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Applicants are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume.


 

(1/18/19) – The Sprouts Farmers Market grocery store under construction in San Luis Obispo will open on Wednesday, April 17 at 7 a.m., the company announced Friday.

The 30,000-square-foot store is being built in the former Forever 21 location on Madonna Rd.

The company is looking to hire approximately 140 full and part-time employees for the new store.

A hiring fair is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 and Wednesday, March 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. It will be located at the Embassy Suites on Madonna Rd.

Open positions include department managers, assistant department managers, clerks, cashiers, courtesy clerks, backup receiver, administrative coordinator, and scan coordinator.
