UPDATE (1:05 p.m.) – Santa Maria police say they’ve located and arrested the suspect.
ORIGINAL STORY (12:50 p.m.) – The Santa Maria Police Department is asking for help identifying and locating an arson suspect.
In the picture released by the police department, the man has short hair, was wearing a black baseball hat, black shirt, black sweater, khaki jeans, and black shoes. He also had a dark grey backpack.
The police department said it wants to question the man in relation to an arson investigation on the 500 block of E. Main St. on Dec. 30, 2018.
