Authorities are looking for the people responsible for breaking into a Goleta store and stealing thousands of dollars worth of electronics.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to reports of the burglary at Best Buy, located on the 7000 block of Marketplace Drive, at about 4 a.m. Sunday.
A manager who had reportedly just arrived on scene told deputies that multiple people entered through a metal emergency exit door and were able to get into a storage room and steal approximately 60 MacBook computers valued at about $75,000, officials say.
The sheriff’s office says the thieves were caught on surveillance; however, authorities say they are not releasing any of that footage at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
