Residents in Santa Barbara County are being alerted to the possibility of strong winds Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
An Aware and Prepare alert was sent out Monday by the Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management saying the winds will peak Tuesday between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
NWS predicts strong winds in SB Co. tonight & tomorrow, peaking 7-10pm on 12/25. Light rain possible between SLO and Pt. Conception. Snow altitude may drop to 4,000ft. Coastal flooding possible 12/25 at high tide. Take necessary precautions to stay safe.

Light rain is also possible between San Luis Obispo and Point Conception.
