A DUI and driver’s license checkpoint in San Luis Obispo late last week led to a handful of arrests and citations.
San Luis Obispo police conducted the checkpoint Friday between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. on the 900 block of Marsh Street.
While 482 vehicles were screened, there were no arrests for suspected drug or alcohol impairment; however, police say one person was arrested on suspicion of having illegal drugs and another was arrested on criminal charges.
Two people were reportedly cited or arrested for driving without a license or with a suspended or revoked license.
Police say one other citation was also issued.
