The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office has arrested three people on charges of stolen property and recovered approximately $20,000 worth of items believed to be stolen from retailers in Southern California.

The sheriff’s office said they pulled over a car traveling north on Highway 101 and Wellsona Road in Paso Robles at approximately 1:37 a.m. Saturday on an enforcement stop.

During the stop, deputies talked to the three people inside and determined there was stolen property inside their vehicle.

The people inside the car were Dashia Monet Lee, 29, Mercedes Denise Cannonier, 34, and Latalia Annette Smith, 34. All three of them are from San Francisco.

The sheriff’s office said several of the stolen items were from Victoria Secret, Lids and American Girl. They said the items they found included toys, clothing and make-up.

Sheriff’s deputies also found burglary tools during their investigation.

All three people were booked into the San Luis Obispo County jail on charges of felony, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.

The sheriff’s office said Smith has warrants for grand theft and battery out of Santa Clara County and a warrant for theft out of Napa County.
