The Chameleon Style Store in Arroyo Grande is sending handmade stockings on Saturday to families in Paradise that were affected by the Camp Fire.

The store has been making the stockings for weeks. Several people across the Central Coast helped make the stockings or donated $15 to $25 gift cards to fill them with.

“The stockings that are going to go up there are just phenomenal,” former Paradise resident Lori Gill said. “Not only are they a gift, but they have a personal note from whoever made them for the poor person that lost their home and that is going to survive this tragedy and start rebuilding. There are no words for that type of thing.”

In total, the group made 900 stockings.

They are distributing the stockings at the Paradise Tree Lighting ceremony in Community Park Saturday.
