The Tuesday launch of a Delta IV Heavy rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base has been scrubbed due to high ground winds, according to United Launch Alliance (ULA).
The next attempt for launch is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 5:44 p.m.
ULA officials say there’s an 80 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for the Wednesday launch.
The rocket will deliver a satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office into orbit.
This is the latest in several delays for the rocket. It was originally scheduled to go up on December 7 but technical issues forced officials to scrub the launch that night and again the following night.
