SLO Brew and Central Coast Brewing will celebrate the release of the new Resilience IPA this Thursday, Dec. 20, and 100 percent of sales will go toward Camp Fire relief efforts.

The Camp Fire, which broke out last month, destroyed the city of Paradise and killed at least 86 people.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, which is based in nearby Chico, came up with the idea for Resilience IPA to benefit those affected by the fire. More than 1,400 breweries across the country got on board with the effort.

SLO Brew and Central Coast Brewing worked together to brew the special edition beer. It will be released at 6 p.m. Thursday at both brewery locations in San Luis Obispo.

Sierra Nevada believes the release of Resilience IPA could raise more than $15 million for Camp Fire relief.
