January is Fine Amnesty Month for San Luis Obispo County Public Libraries.
All county library branches will waive all overdue fees, no matter how late the item is returned. If your library card has been suspended because of overdue fines, it will be reactivated.
Fine amnesty is available from Jan. 2-31.
Library officials say fine forgiveness does not apply to fees charged for lost materials or damaged items. Click here for more information.
