Investigators with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) criminal unit served a federal search warrant Thursday at the Santa Maria offices of the Greka Group.
Greka conducts oil drilling operations in the Santa Maria Valley area. Over the years, multiple oil spills have been reported at its facilities.
EPA officials said they could not share any details about the criminal investigation involving the company.
