McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams, based in Santa Barbara, has opened a new shop in downtown San Luis Obispo.
The shop, located on Monterey Street between Williams-Sonoma and Junk Girls, opened last Thursday. A grand opening celebration is planned for this coming Thursday.
McConnell’s was founded in 1949. It has two locations in Santa Barbara, as well as shops in downtown Los Angeles, Studio City, Los Feliz, and Pacific Palisades. Its ice creams can also be found in many grocery stores.
