You may notice a new art piece at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center the next time you visit the San Luis Obispo hospital.
Sierra Vista CEO Mark Lisa recently commissioned local artist Steve Thomas to create the artwork for the hospital’s 59th anniversary.
The artwork includes images of the hospital, a 1959-era convertible, a modern life-flight helicopter, healthcare professionals, and Bishop Peak in the background.
It is now on display in the hospital’s main lobby.
