A man was found about 50 feet over the side of Highway 1 near Constellation Road near Vandenberg Village Saturday morning with serious injuries according to Santa Barbara County Public Information Office Mike Eliason.
He said a man collecting trash on the side of the road saw the car hidden behind some bushes and walked to the area to check on the vehicle.
According to the Santa Barbara Fire Department, the driver was outside of the car when he was found.
When the fire department arrived the driver had serious injuries.

Eliason said the man was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital via a CALSTAR 7 helicopter.
Eliason said the driver was the only person inside the car and it is unknown when the vehicle crash happened.
CHP Buellton will investigate the incident.
