The California Men’s Colony says an inmate who stole a van and escaped from the prison last week has still not been found.
David Gray Hall was reported missing the morning of Oct. 30 during an inmate count.
CMC officials say Hall was a minimum-security inmate who was assigned to work in the prison garage. He was scheduled to be released on parole in December 2019.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation continues to work with other law enforcement agencies in the search for Hall.
Things were back to normal at CMC the day after the escape, officials say.
