San Luis Obispo rally hopes to encourage people to vote

The mid-term election is days away and San Luis Obispo organizations are teaming up to host a Get Out the Vote Rally on Saturday to encourage people to vote.

The rally starts at 12 p.m. at Mitchell Park and will continue with a march to the County Clerk’s Office at 1 p.m.

According to a press release, the group plans to turn in their ballots for Tuesday’s mid-term election at the clerk’s office.

Members of SLO County Progressives, Indivisible, SLO County Democratic Party and Women’s March SLO will give speeches.
