The 2nd Annual Fall Harvest Festival was hosted in San Luis Obispo on Sunday.
The festival went on from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at City Farm SLO. Activities ranged from hayrides, farm tours, yoga, and live music.
Teresa Lees, one of the festival’s farm educators, says her half-acre of land represents the four corners of the world. She grows crops that are indigenous to different continents so visitors can understand what food originates from certain continents.
“The whole premise is that we are all one family on this planet and let’s appreciate and honor and respect and celebrate our diversity and our cultures our foods, how we live and how we can live,” said Lees.
