Pet lovers in San Luis Obispo County can take to the streets and walk on behalf of homeless animals.
The Wiggle Waggle Walk Adventure has been around for 26 years.
The Woods Humane Society hosts the walk which benefits homeless dogs in the county.
The walk will have several events throughout the day.
The schedule is:
- 10 a.m. large breed costume contest.
- 10:15 a.m. small breed costume contest
- 10:30 a.m. dog/owner look-a-like contest
- 10:45 a.m. best dog trick contest
- 11:15 a.m. blessing of the animals
- 11:30 a.m. walk starts
- 12:15 p.m. prize and raffle announcements
