A job fair tailored specifically toward local veterans is scheduled to take place this Friday, Oct. 19, in Santa Maria.
The “Honor a Hero, Hire a Vet” job and resource fair is free and open to the public.
Employers, government agencies, and community organizations will be on hand to assist veterans in finding jobs, job training, and other resources.
The job fair will be open from 9 a.m. until noon at America’s Job Center of California, located at 1410 South Broadway.
