A group of men from the Recovery Ranch in Santa Ynez headed out to Florida on Tuesday to help with the relief efforts for Hurricane Michael.

About 30 volunteers from the addiction treatment center flew to the Florida panhandle to assist recovery teams in the area in whatever way they can. The center is also raising money to give to communities affected by the hurricane’s impact through an online campaign.

They plan to use the money raised for food, clothing and other necessary supplies.

Recovery Ranch participants have previously helped out in North Carolina following the devastation of Hurricane Florence and gave relief to those in Texas after Hurricane Harvey hit the state.

Those who want to give to the Recovery Ranch’s efforts for Hurricane Michael can donate through the center’s GoFundMe page at https://www.gofundme.com/RRHurricanemichael. All donations are welcome.
