The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have information about recent vandalisms and thefts at Vandenberg Village schools to come forward.

The most recent incident occurred Monday at Cabrillo High School on the 4300 block of Constellation Road, according to Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Kelly Hoover.

She says a window was broken at the school and other vandalism, which included vulgar graffiti, was also found. It does not appear anything was taken.

Over the weekend, Buena Vista Elementary on the 100 block of Aldebaran Avenue reported at least one classroom was broken into and two laptops stolen, according to Hoover.

She says whoever is responsible pried windows open and took off screens to get inside.

Days earlier, another laptop was reportedly stolen from the school.

Both schools are part of the Lompoc Unified School District.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (805) 681-4100. Anonymous tips can be submitted to authorities by clicking here.
