The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office said an undercover operation led to the discovery of a prostitution operation at Apple Spa in Nipomo.

According to a press release sent by the sheriff’s office, deputies with the assistance of the District Attorney’s Office served a search warrant at the spa in the 600 block of W. Tefft St.

Detectives got several anonymous tips that the spa was offering prostitution services.

On Wednesday detectives held an undercover operation at the spa and determined that prostitution services were being operated out of the business.

The press release said detectives are also looking for elements of human trafficking in a continuing investigation.

No arrested were made, but the people involved have been identified including 67-year-old Dennis Delbono who owns the business.

The other people identified as suspects are a 56-year-old woman from Los Angeles, a 53-year-old woman from Loma Linda and a 55-year-old woman from Banning.

The sheriff’s office said a complaint will be filed with the District Attorney’s Office with recommended charges of prostitution, supervising or aiding in prostitution and running a prostitution house operation.
