The 2018 Giovanni’s Down the Hatch Oyster Eating Competition is Saturday, Oct. 6 in Morro Bay.
The eating contest will be on the main stage at the Morro Bay Harbor Festival from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The top three contestants will get trophies.
To join the competition, competitors must be at the main stage by 1:15 p.m. and have to pay a $10 entry fee.
