Sunday was a beautiful day to dress up and ride through San Luis Obispo County.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride brought 57 motorcycles to downtown for a good cause as the group, part of a nationwide effort, raised money for prostate cancer and mental health.
The ride tallied over $8,000, a steady increase from the past few years.
Passersby stopped to look at the vintage motorcycles on display at Mission Plaza.
“It’s a good excuse to meet people, dress up, and comradery,” said Jason Len, area organizer. “Again, we’re doing something that benefits other people and enjoying what we love to do which is ride motorcycles.”
Next year, Len and company are planning a two-day event with a motorcycle show.
