Forward progress of a small vegetation fire is stopped after it started just outside of Buellton Saturday night.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department crews got the call around 5:45 p.m. Saturday. The blaze was west of Buellton near Highway 246 and Drum Canyon.
About one acre of light grass was burning when crews arrived. Firefighters kept the fire to about two acres.

No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
Fire crews will remain on scene, working to get full containment of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
