The Santa Maria Town Center Mall is under new ownership.
According to documents from the Santa Barbara County Assessor’s Office, the mall was sold in June to SMTC Acquisition LLC for $21,517,500.
The new owner is reportedly a global insurance company.
The mall is located across the street from Santa Maria City Hall and includes a Macy’s, Sears and Edwards Theatres.
KSBY reached out to mall management for comment but has not received a response at this time.
