Four men surfing in Isla Vista were rescued Thursday morning according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the surfers on the 6800 block of Del Playa just after 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
All of the men were not injured but suffered from exhaustion due to the high surf.
Fire officials say one surfboard was lost and a water rescue team is attempting to locate it.
