An attempted murder investigation is underway in Lompoc following an early-morning shooting that left two people injured.
Lompoc police say officers were called to the 300 block of North J Street Sunday at about 12:26 a.m. for reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, they found two people at a home in the area had been shot.
Police say both victims were taken to local trauma centers, adding the shooting is believed to be gang-related.
No arrests have been made.
