One person was killed when they were hit by a train Tuesday morning in Carpinteria.
It happened shortly before 9:20 a.m. on the tracks at the end of Calle Ocho, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.
Trains were delayed through the area.
No other information was immediately available.
