On Wednesday December 11, Jack's Helping Hand will host the Annual Oncology Christmas Party at the Madonna Inn. The event is for children and families of children who are battling cancer or are in remission. The event includes arts, crafts. There is also a special dinner and a visit from Santa Claus, who will arrive on a big red fire truck. Helping Hand will also hand out gifts to the children, which they were able to purchase from a donation from the Arroyo Grande Optimist Club and an anonymous donation.
The Central Shores Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society is hosting the event.
