(UPDATE 7:15 p.m.)- The Lake Fire burning near Lake San Antonio in Monterey County is 80 percent contained as of Tuesday afternoon.
CAL FIRE said the fire has burned 316 acres.

A fire that broke out Monday afternoon near Lake San Antonio in Monterey County was 50 percent contained as of Tuesday morning.
CAL FIRE said the fire had burned 316 acres.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
It started in the area of Jolon Rd. and New Pleyto Rd. in Lockwood.
