(UPDATE 2:55 p.m.) – CAL FIRE says the fires burned a 25×100-foot area and is now out. No word on the cause.
ORIGINAL STORY: Firefighters were responding to three small brush fires that broke out Monday afternoon along Highway 46 East.
The fires were reported just after 1 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway near Jardine Rd.
