Local firefighters are helping in combating the wildfires in California.
Santa Maria Fire sent a crew to respond to the Camp Fire in Butte County.
“The amount of work that remains there is astounding, but we will be up to the challenge and will serve those in need,” it tweeted.
The crew left Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, Montecito Fire had eight personnel return from the Woolsey Fire. Several of its Urban Search and Rescue specialists were set to the Camp Fire.
