For more than a week several wildfires have been burning throughout California destroying thousands of homes, killing at least 71 people.

As of Saturday, approximately 8,400 firefighters are working to put out the flames according to CAL FIRE.

The fire agency said in total the Camp Fire and Woolsey Fire has destroyed more than 246, 362 acres and 13,099 structures.

CAL FIRE said in Northern California high pressure will produce warm, dry conditions until Tuesday. A fire weather watch has been issued, but CAL FIRE said it could change into a Red Flag Warning for Sierra Nevada Foothills.

The fire agency also said firefighters are preparing for significant winds Saturday through Monday.
