Two candidates are facing off in the race for mayor of Grover Beach.
In this election, incumbent Jeff Lee was challenged by court reporter Elizabeth Doukas.
The latest election results show Lee is leading with 70% of the votes.
Lee was first elected mayor in 2018 after serving as a city council member from 2012 to 2018.
Three city council seats are also up for grabs this election.
As of 11:41 p.m., both Karen Bright (incumbent) and Anna Miller are leading with 31% and 23% of the votes respectively.
Will Bruce trails with 17% of the vote, followed by Daniel Rushing with 15% and Joseph Holmes with 14% of the votes.
The top two will serve four-year terms.
The third open seat is a two-year term.
Results show Robert Robert having a narrow lead (34%) over Fred Buenrostro Jr. (33%) and David Duringer (33%).
