Cunningham retains 35th District State Assembly seat

UPDATE (11/7/18) – With 100 percent of precincts reporting on Wednesday morning, Jordan Cunningham retained his lead over Bill Ostrander in the 35th State Assembly District race with 58 percent of the vote.

One of the many positions being challenged in November’s election is a seat in the California State Assembly representing the 35th District.

Incumbent Jordan Cunningham, a Republican, has served as the assemblyman for California’s 35th District since 2016. He’s being challenged in this election by Democrat Bill Ostrander.

Early results released on Election Night show Cunningham in the lead with 60 percent of the vote to Ostrander’s 40 percent.

The 35th District encompasses San Luis Obispo County and portions of Santa Barbara County.
