With the November general election just weeks away, another candidate forum took place Thursday night.
This time, the League of Women Voters put it on for Santa Maria City Council candidates in districts three and four.
The candidates talked about affordable housing, the economy, public safety, the Santa Maria city deficit and the sales tax measure – Measure U.
Only four of the five candidates were at the forum. Raymond Acosta, who is running in district three, was not in attendance.
