Tattoo shops were among the personal care services allowed to reopen in San Luis Obispo County, Friday.
After getting the green light to reopen, Traditional Tattoo on Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo is back in business.
The number of people allowed inside is limited, so appointments are recommended.
They've also set up a tent outside for guests to fill out paperwork.
Masks are required for the tattoo artist and the client getting tattooed or pierced.
"We do a temperature check on everybody before they're able to come into the shop and everybody has been positive about it and not [felt] invasive," said Traditional Tattoo Owner, Shad Perlich.
Spas and massage facilities are also back open.
In Santa Barbara County. these types of services cannot yet reopen after county leaders put a pause on reopening due to a surge of COVID-19 hospitalizations.
