San Luis Obispo County is reporting that another county resident with COVID-19 has died.
Health officials say the person was over the age of 100 and lived at a congregate-care facility that is experiencing an outbreak of coronavirus.
San Luis Obispo County also reported 43 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the county's total to 1,783 confirmed cases as of July 31.
Fourteen people are hospitalized, including four patients who are in the ICU.
Another 385 people are recovering at home, and 1,369 people have recovered.
San Luis Obispo County has had a total of 15 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
COVID-19 tests are currently available to the public in Grover Beach and San Luis Obispo.

An additional 39 cases are in communities with fewer than five cases, and the Public Health Department is not identifying those locations. The location of 20 cases is listed as "under investigation."
