A chiropractic center in Santa Barbara County is showing their appreciation for local first responders.

Pierce Chiropractic and Sports Injury Center in Santa Maria provided free chiropractic care to first responders this morning.

Police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses and essential military personnel came in for services.

The owner of the chiropractic center said he hopes this free service can help ease some tension among first responders.

"We know that a community that works together stays healthy together and grows together, and this is just our simple and small give-back of saying thank you for all the work they have done," said Dr. Beau Pierce, owner of Pierce Chiropractic and Sports Injury Center.

Dr. Pierce said he hopes to continue this service throughout the pandemic.
