The staff at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital received a generous care package Thursday morning from a group of local farmers.
A total of 400 Talley Farms Fresh Harvest produce boxes were delivered. The food is locally grown by five companies: Talley Farms, Beachside Produce, Cuyama Orchards, Alexander Ranch, Inc., and Clover Ag, Inc. They say the food is to save the hospital workers money as well as the time they'd spend out shopping for groceries between long shifts.
Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation is also organizing 400 stress-relief packages for Arroyo Grande Community Hospital employees.
