A 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit near the border of California and Nevada Sunday morning, according to the US Geological Survey.

The agency reports the earthquake took place at 11:20 a.m. nearly eight miles southwest of Aspen Springs, Calif., and nearly 10 miles northeast of Toms Place, Calif.

Officials say there are no reported injuries nor damages due to the earthquake.
