(Update 3:14 a.m.) – Power was restored to a majority of the residents affected by the outage.
The map now shows 654 customers are without power.
A power outage is affecting more than 3,400 PG&E customers in Morro Bay.
The outage was reported just after 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to PG&E’s website, the power outage is affecting the south side of the city from the Morro Bay Bike Park to the Morro Bay State Park Campground.

PG&E hasn’t determined the cause of the outage but they have multiple personnel investigating and ready to make any repairs if necessary.
They don’t have a restoration estimation at this time.
