Blast 825 Brewery celebrates renovation with Grand Opening

Posted

Blast 825 Brewery in Orcutt held its Grand Opening celebration Saturday night after months of renovation.

The brewery featured a free concert ticket giveaway, free tastings and free food samples at the celebration. Other local brewers gave away free swag at the event.

The Grand Opening also featured live music by the Molly Ringwald Project.

The remodel included the removal of walls and pillars from the former Rooney’s Irish Pub to create a more open floor plan.

The fireplace was replaced with an indoor wood fired pizza oven. A self-serve tap wall was added that features 26 wines and beers.

The business updated the patio space with a beer garden, outdoor games, area heaters and a full bar.

The brewery stayed open with reduced hours during the renovation. Blast 825 is now open 7 days a week.

General Manager Ashlee Sauer said she was excited to be able to bring this type of experience to the central coast.
