A project to resurface 24 miles of Highway 58 and construct a new concrete barrier continues Saturday, July 20 through Saturday, July 27.
The project starts near State Route 229, east of Santa Margarita and stretches to the Navajo Creek Bridge.
Caltrans said motorists may encounter up to 15 minute delays due to one-way reversing traffic control from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. though the end of next week.
The $7 million project is expected to be complete in September.
Caltrans reminds motorists to slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
