Temperatures will continue to be cooler Friday before a ridge of high pressure will cause them to soar by the middle of next week.

The interior valleys will range from the upper 70s to upper 80s Friday and skies will be mostly clear. As high pressure starts to build on Sunday, temperatures will start to warm up. By the middle of next week, there’s potential for the interior valleys to reach triple digits.

As for the coastal valleys, temperatures will be mild over the weekend and stay close to the low to mid-70s. Marine layer will continue to fill in along the coast Friday and linger through most of the afternoon. Daytime highs will range from the low to upper 60s Friday before warming up to the mid-70s by the middle of next week.
