The forecast is as mild as it gets for the Mid-State Fair with 80s and even 70s for the next couple of days before warming again this upcoming weekend into early next week.

For those not heading to the fair the biggest issue may be the marine deck, it may not clear much at beaches and highs in the low to mid 60s would be about it for the next couple days.

The coastal valleys should be in the lower 70s before also warming a little into the weekend.

The culprit for all this is an upper level trough deepening the marine influence and that coastal winds will also go fairly light, meaning there will not be enough flow to wipe out clouds.

That all changes early next week when a ridge over the Desert Southwest backs into California. This is smash the marine influence out of the valleys driving a big jump in temps. At the coast there will still be night and morning marine layer but it will not be as extensive.
